    Good Place to Work

    Pros-Friendly and open environment
    -Great people
    -Relaxed atmosphere
    -Good communication, feedback and evaluation

    Cons-Difficult to advance and transfer between departments
    -Work can be monotonous
    -Sometimes there is a lot of work and at times you can spend weeks checking your facebook account
    -Lack of interest in employee training

    Advice to Senior ManagementOverall, I think the top management was doing a good job. I wish there were more opportunities to learn and acquire new skills.

    If you are not willing to socialize every week and go out with coworkers, will not get ahead

    ProsOpportunity to see deal flow and gain similar skill sets of that of the bulge brackets. You are surrounded by smart people.

    ConsLack of clear communication from management. It can be a bit of a sweat shop due to lack of support if you happen to be in a branch office location.

    Advice to Senior ManagementIf you plan to branch out to ancillary cities, be sure to equip those locations with an analyst or two. Also, don't be too quick to branch out as you did for purposes or portraying a national company for the IPO.

    Conslittle to no communication between management and employees, while benefits are stellar attention to employee careers and well-being seem non-existent
