Current Employee – been working at Nilfisk-Advance
Pros – Very good atmosphere. The management respects you and take in all considerations of performance changes. Never have to take work home with you.
Cons – Nilfisk is slightly disorganized and often times duties seemed pointless in the advancement of the company. Also, you work early hours (especially in the summer time).
Advice to Senior Management – All in all it is a successful company with the Springdale plant as one of their top manufacturers. The company is managed very well.

Former Employee – worked at Nilfisk-Advance
Pros – Great people to work with, many have 10+ years of seniority. They like to feed you (on occasion), doughnuts, fruit and veggies, cheese and crackers, BBQ's, Pizza. Nice place to work if you live close by.
Cons – Layoffs can be looming over everyone's head. The pay might be in the middle of the road, I'm not sure.

Current Employee – been working at Nilfisk-Advance full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Great group of people, across all departments. Free and ample parking?
Cons – Far too many levels of management; everything gets caught in red tape; immediate supervisors will micromanage a project to death, in what seems to be their way of validating their position; antiquated systems; 1980s technology; global company means global economy
Advice to Senior Management – Upper management needs to get eyes on the ground level; start clearing unnecessary lower and middle management positions, and use those resources in hiring (and keeping) strong employees and implementing evolved/proven systems. Work smarter, not harder. Start considering offering employees more flexibility and options, like eCommuting (gasp!).

Former Employee – worked at Nilfisk-Advance
Pros – good pay with moderate fair benefits package; flexible work time and friendly work mates. indeed, they have great teams in engineering, products development,
Cons – they afraid of your profile appear on monster; meanwhile, they can easily fire you without noticement as they are going to close the plant. senior management doest not really encourage and evaluate your performance. the corporate matrix is loose and projects are not well managed
Advice to Senior Management – the senior management should open communication with its employees when making serious decision. and need to further encourage its employee to achieve the best.
