A company with great potential, greatly hindered by the executive suite.

I have been working at Nip Group full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

There are a lot of smart, hard-working people there.

    Cons

Aggressive micromanagement, by an owner who is clearly out of his depth, and is clueless about how his company is perceived by the broker community at large.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get out of your own way. Take responsibility for your actions. Your product is nothing special... improving your service levels, and actually communicating with your clients is the only path to growth. But remaining in denial or continually throwing people under the bus? Um. No. All that does is further your already-tarnished reputation within the industry.

I have been working at Nip Group full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Get some experience in the industry. Entry level, free continuing education classes. Get experience with decent carrier partners.

    Cons

You will do the job of three full time employees.
, get paid less than 35k as a licensed insurance producer, and expect to work 12 hour days because you're salaried.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Learn to respect and appreciate you're employees. While your pockets are getting bigger, they're closer to a nervous breakdown.
