I have been working at Nitto Denko full-time

    Pros

If you lack production experience it's a good place to get it, they hire just about anybody who walks through the door

    Cons

Serious lack of organization. Job descriptions have not been updated in 10 years (possibly more) making it difficult to know what you are supposed to do everyday. Company seems to dislike the idea of preventative maintenance and the machines break down frequently.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It would be a very wise idea to start looking into heavy repairs. Some of these machines are so old the companies that made them are no longer in business and maintenance has stated it can be difficult to get parts. Working 7 days a week almost all year round gets tiring quick and even more so when it happens because a machine broke down with the same bad part 3 times in a week causing the whole line not to run for at least a week. It may also be beneficial to have your engineers actually be able to run the machines they are responsible for so the can actually modify them without causing the whole line to act up or at least be able to properly correct the problem

    Pros

You will able to have own decision on whether to stay late at work or go home on time.
There will be some department who you will enjoy working because totally no pressure there.

    Cons

But it is not so good if you want to have career advancement. There will be very less information sharing between the HQ and Malaysia branch. The training provided is not so good.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Change the mindset. have more information sharing. Revise the salary after static for near 10 years.
