I have been working at Noble Corporation full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Pay is industry average. Insurance is good. Many of the rigs are new and modern. As with any job, the people you work with make a difference.

    Cons

Upper management has a tendency to make knee jerk decisions that are IMO stupid many times. In times of weakness in the O&G industry, they tend to take advantage of treating people like crap. Example. Cut bonuses ans such for rig workers while preserving upper management's pay and bonuses.

    Advice to Management

Listen to workers in the field. They know what's really going on.

I worked at Noble Corporation full-time

    Pros

Great salary and benefit package and excellent 401K.

    Cons

Promotions still seem to follow the good ole boy network. If you are into hunting, fishing, four wheeling you are in there.

    Advice to Management

New leadership required on rigs that embrace technology.

I have been working at Noble Corporation full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

High pay compared to other engineering jobs. Company strength shows promise for growth as a company Schedule is 3 weeks on 3 weeks off or 4/4 12 hr days for 1 week is 40hrs regular and 44 over time Live anywhere in the U.S. They pay travel cost (limited maximum) High priority set on training. Some of the training schools can be thousands of dollars. No contract (job depending) Can have significant travel around the world. More hours is more pay so this might be a positive to some.

    Cons

I can not think of significant cons worthy of inputting that are representative of the entire company.

    Advice to Management

I love my job. Weather the storm of low oil prices and keep on going!

I have been working at Noble Corporation (Less than a year)

    Pros

Slow-paced environment. Good company for those people with kids/family or looking for work/life balance. Good pay if compared with others in the O&G industry.

    Cons

If you like a fast-paced environment and a fast career advancement, unfortunately this is not the place for you.

    Advice to Management

Change the old school mind set.
