I worked at Noble Group Limited full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

You will work amongst the most hard working and nicest people you would ever meet and work with. Senior Management are open and friendly. Full health benefits for you and your entire family!

    Cons

Work-life balance is hard at times. You will sometimes have after hour work, weekend work and work on holidays. Just make sure the work you are doing is well documented so that you can get paid for your overtime.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You are able to apply for another internal position once you've been in your current role for a full year.

I have been working at Noble Group Limited full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    - Smart colleagues/peers
    - Flat organization, you are just as likely to work with a managing director than a brand new analyst
    - Friendly group, everyone is open to helping others
    - Great pay (and bonus) and benefits (from what I understand, unlimited tuition reimbursement)

    Cons

    - Nothing much really, maybe promote more interaction between groups/products but the nature of the business makes it hard

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Doing a great job, keep it up.

    Pros

If you can stay under the radar it is a good place to hang out and get some personal experience, training etc, while pulling in a decent paycheck

    Cons

They are prone to hire incompetent management in certain areas
They are structured in a silo fashion that encourages in-fighting and back-stabbing
They don't have a business plan or don't communicate the plan well at a business unit level. It appears they make it up as the go along. As noted above it is much like a kids soccer match where everyone is chasing the ball instead of a coordinated effort.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    They don't take advice

    Pros

You get to work with the smartest people in the industry learning something new every day.

    Cons

The company is extremely 'lean' resulting in a skewed work life balance.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Appreciation towards staff (not only monetary) will result in higher job satisfaction and lower staff turnover.

I have been working at Noble Group Limited full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    - Bright people, working with them is fun
    - Good work/life balance. Few/no face-time required, when the work is done you go enjoy your evening

    Cons

    - Below-market compensation for junior positions
    - Very hierarchical from middle management onwards, still run like a privately owned, local business instead of a global corporate
    - Culture can hamper development if you are junior. Your success depends more on subjective than objective (and measurable) criteria

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Dear Chairman, dear CEO, Noble's history has been an outstanding one. But today's junior people and trainees will form the company of tomorrow so if they feel overlooked or left behind they may leave for greener pastures.
