    Pros

    1) Great culture, entrepreneurial, friendly, generally humble and team-oriented employees, no one believes they are superior or smarter than their peers despite some being extremely successful. 2) Industry is extremely meritocratic, so after proving yourself either Noble is forced to give you your due responsibility and pay, or another company will. 3) Very international office and good diversity, fun office. 4) Ideas are everything, flat organization and comparatively low politics, a junior person with conviction and reasoning can have a big impact. Profit talks not rank or longevity, there is more at stake than someone's ego or feelings getting hurt. 5) Slightly easier to rise up and try something different than other companies. 6) good benefits

    Cons

    1) Recently getting bogged down in protocol, it's hurting how quickly business gets executed. 2) Turning more into a bank, lots of paper pushers and silly rules like stricter office dress code which are not relevant to the fundamental business. 3) Goes through periods of cost cutting, where even small necessary expenses are scrutinized and sometimes eliminated. Management needs to sweat the smaller things less so they can sweat the bigger things such as risk allocations and trade strategies more.

    Advice to Management

Keep red-tape down (daily/monthly compliance and risk procedures/conference calls) and the maintain agility, keep teams as lean as possible. Still too many unnecessary hires and some roles that need to be eliminated. The industry is highly scalable, just a few people can run and manage a large and profitable business. Keeping focusing on good risk management, it is beginning to pay off well. Promote aggressively from within, the industry demands it and the company needs to keep up or people will leave for companies that give them their due. Taking a risk on someone internally requires courage but is overall much cheaper than hiring from the outside, it will free up junior roles and it motivates performance and loyalty.

    Pros

Good Benefits. Colleagues are nice and helpful, it's a nice family environment.

    Cons

Not much advancement in career, its a flat structure so it's not easy to move up. There are too many individual IT systems to learn.

I have been working at Noble Group Limited full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good benefits that seem to be getting cut every year. The staff are generally nice, but management has no loyalty to long time employees. Convenient office location. Free bagels on Friday.

    Cons

Horrible morale, constant firings with little severance, no communication from management, unless lies count. There is no sense of loyalty at any level.

    Advice to Management

There needs to be a clearer picture of where the company is going rather than the lies that are propogated at Town Hall meetings.

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

An added bullet point on cv, that said I wish I could leave it off.

    Cons

Horrible/useless managers (my manager would always remind everyone that he was great bc he was in "management"). Zero communication between group Too much division of labour, this leads to lousy work bc no one ever sees the end result of what theyre doing. No direction from senior management. Just he was a heavy hitter at X bank before, so they're super important Yes it's a trading floor, so expect a locker room culture. But I've witnessed several managers going too far in demeaning junior staff.

    Advice to Management

Quit believing the company is great, there is some serious need for housekeeping. Streamline operations, no need for all the divisions of labour.

I worked at Noble Group Limited full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

You will work amongst the most hard working and nicest people you would ever meet and work with. Senior Management are open and friendly. Full health benefits for you and your entire family!

    Cons

Work-life balance is hard at times. You will sometimes have after hour work, weekend work and work on holidays. Just make sure the work you are doing is well documented so that you can get paid for your overtime.

    Advice to Management

You are able to apply for another internal position once you've been in your current role for a full year.

I have been working at Noble Group Limited full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Smart colleagues/peers - Flat organization, you are just as likely to work with a managing director than a brand new analyst - Friendly group, everyone is open to helping others - Great pay (and bonus) and benefits (from what I understand, unlimited tuition reimbursement)

    Cons

    - Nothing much really, maybe promote more interaction between groups/products but the nature of the business makes it hard

    Advice to Management

Doing a great job, keep it up.

    Pros

Fast-paced environment giving employees the chance to learn quickly. Some smart people who have a lot of experience in the industry

    Cons

I worked at Noble Group Limited full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Some of the people are great to work with and make life bearable Initial Salary rate is good Decent Office accomodations, IT hardware and mobile phones

    Cons

Be sure to negotiate salary heavily up-front because they are very stingy on salary reviews and bonuses. Expect that if you want Business software is from hell - Lots of very patehtic decisions from predecessors you are forced to live with Lots of back-stabbing Some senior managers are bullies who push hard on things they know little about Lots of hidden agendas being pushed Dismal accounting controls and cooking the books for self gain was/is a popular pursuit

    Advice to Management

The corporate culture you aspire to is at odds with relaity and REAL communication to staff is non-existant. The message
