    Pros

Company Leadership - Jake/John Donoghue is one of the most genuinely kind, caring leaders I've ever known. I worked for the corporate office and then worked for the Edgewater Hotel, Seattle. When an employee in my department had a tragedy occur, Jake/John and his wife personally bought her and her family gourmet meals for a week, a huge gift basket and even allowed any employee to donate their sick/vacation time to this employee. This company holds my fondest memories of the last 25 years in the hospitality industry. I actually hope one day to return to my Noble House family!

    Cons

It's hard for me to think of any!

    Advice to Management

Keep showing your team you care and your recognition goes a LONG way. I still have a Tiffany crystal star award from 2003 that is proudly displayed in my current hotel office. I actually even have all of the personal notes from corporate with their congratulations from winning this award. Things like this matter so much more than you know!

    Pros

You feel valued and part of a team.

    Cons

Moving up in the company can be difficult.

    Advice to Management

Look at the big picture and don't sweat the small stuff. Treat all employees fairly when it comes to reviews and policies.

    Pros

Benefits, they support promoting from within

    Cons

Travel benefits could be better. Rooms have too many blackout dates and if there's high hotel occupancy, employee rates in hotel rooms don't apply.

    Advice to Management

Great job on training. However, do not motivate through fear. Rather, inspire your team to do better.

    Pros

Amazing company with some truly fantastic properties. Most of the management are among the most talented you'll see in the industry.

    Cons

There are exceptions. Not all rise to a particular standard, and sometimes do and say shockingly offensive things. Derogatory nicknames, blocking promotions based on perceived friend status or assumptions about political leanings. Even when there has been no political talk or evidence to support assumptions.

Wonderful company to work for. Good benefits, good people. Opportunities to advance and very proud of their employees. There are some training opportunities. You do feel as though the upper management is interested in their employees and want them to succeed.

    Cons

Growing company so still working on defining themselves. Truly I don't have any cons

    Pros

They had a nice budget for employee company parties and they were always family friendly. They gave our GM full control

    Cons

The upper management thinks they are above everyone and has a snooty attitude. Not a lot of communication between upper and lower management
