Good work life balance. Good perks. World's leading brand in mobile phones. Salary is better than services companies. On par with some product companies.

Too much of process and hierarchy. Office politics. Recently going down to competition in phone business. Less job security. Quality of work is not as good, but i feel in most of the s/w companies in India the case is same. Work is mostly maintenance or feature enhancement. Very less development from scratch.
Advice to Senior Management
Need to take strong and wise decisions to bring back company in its success path again. Every time you did a re-org to reduce management layers and create a flat organization, then end result in India was that there effected more such roles.

2. As organization is very very big....lots of things goes around and person with passion can find people doing various things.
3. Ample time to try out things and experiment more.
4. Management is supporting and recognize your hard work.

1. In recent times, top level decisions have turned out to be destructive in terms of implementation which lowers employee morale.
2. Projects often misses the deadline which results in bonus compensation.
3. Often implementing the things which has come to market already resulting in loss of market share.
4. Too much R&D for certain modules and at later point of time...cancellation of project or cancellation of product turns employee work into waste.

While making decisions please stick to it and make sure the deadlines are meeting. Launch the product on time with quality and planned it accordingly.

No technical career growth. If you are really want to grow technically then this is not your place

You will be hired for some core technical competencies and they ask to you work for process and project management area
Services are not best in the market standards. You're far behind than your competitors
Decommissioning almost 4 services within a year because of poor acquisitions

-most recognized brand in India, although it is doing badly worldwide
-above average salary compared to similar league companies in Bangalore
-depending on the team, you could be doing great work.
-bangalore is still a low cost option for nokia. job seems more secure compared to other locations worldwide

-hit on the innovative front, being hit badly by competition. always plays follower
-soon to lose the numero uno position
-bonuses are zero when all the other companies are doing well and paying fat bonuses
