    Pros

Interesting work, many possibilites if you decide to stay, and it was good to experience a little what does it like to be in a multiculture company. I can recommend the company.

    Cons

None that i can remember. Maybe that sometimes we (the interns) didnt get enough attention and sometimes didnt know what to do. But it was very rarely.

    Pros

Nokia has right direction and keeps doing right. Its culture encourage employees to feel comfortable. All staff know current situation via open communication

    Cons

Organization is too big to change immediately. Sometimes different customers have different requirement, but it's hard to fulfill request due to complicated process

    Advice to Management

For new technology or industry area, it's better to create a small business unit, in order to allow more flexible process and easy to make innovation.

    Pros

    - Work-life balance and flexibility
    - Company culture
    - Career possibilities

It's a huge and good company, with lots of opportunities but don't expect to be carried in you manager arms. If you want something, you need to make it happen.
Career and personal development processes are well defined and there are plenty of official tools to manage those process. Again, don't expect your manager to prepare everything to you.

People are kind and helpful, managers are normally supportive and willing to help, but usually are overbooked and have no time to be pro-active.

All in all, it's a good place to work for both people who like a more laid back environment, 9-to-5 job with no much stress (and still feel part of a great thing) and for people who have more ambition and want to climb.

    Cons

    - Real estate conditions:
      - Amadora office was refurbished, but it's quite crowded
      - cafeteria and vending machine was placed in spaces with no windows, low ceiling, bad access and insufficient space. Sometimes, a simple morning coffee feels like a mosh pit.
    - Country policies for travels and expenses are much more strict and complex than other countries

    Advice to Management

Take care of your people, that's what a company is made of.

    Pros

The company is dynamic and flexible. These are the two words that describe it best. there is a trust relationship which was a key differentiator especially compared to other companies in this region. The business ethics is noticeable as well. Individuals are appreciated and their efforts are recognised usually by the management.

    Cons

I was at a time following the merger between Nokia and Siemens and the process took so long with many re-organisations done for the following years. That created un-stability and people were mostly identifying themselves as ex-Nokia and ex-Siemens employees.

    Advice to Management

Add more compensations to employees in specific countries in the region whose remuneration is lower than other countries. Keep the trust culture within the company and keep the flexible work time.
