I have been working at Nokia Networks full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Throughout my career, I've worked with very intelligent and technically minded people in software development, system engineering and product management. It's a rather young company that's still trying to find it's footing and direction though.

    Cons

Compensation is fair but not great. Promotions and minimal cost of living raises are difficult to come by.

I have been working at Nokia Networks full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Has good R&D, good product mix, doing well against competition.
One of the best 401K match programs
Good benefits (but they are not cheap)
Encourages personnel movement between offices, businesses and even countries.

    Cons

Annual profit and sales performance are still shaky.
Flat organization, management opportunities are hard to come by.
Even though the company is European based, still considers US salaries too high.
Prefers young employees that have lower salaries and are willing to move anywhere on moments notice (unless, of course, you are from Finland)
    Reorganizes constantly.
Best technical jobs are outside of US.

    Neutral Outlook
