Pros

Very close knit group with plenty of opportunity to advance in various areas. As a developer it is a great place to learn all aspects of a project's life cycle ranging from planning, implementation, and deployment. Rather than be confined to just development, developers are given the opportunity to touch on requirement gathering roles along with training roles.

Cons

Being a smaller company, sometimes there are limited resources/knowledge regarding certain products and technologies. As a result, developers can be pigeon holed to certain areas. However, that being said, effort has been made to cross train developers so that this does not happen anymore.

Advice to Senior Management

Continue to cross train developers across the different practice areas to keep developer interest high.
