    Pros

You get base pay,You get base pay,You get base pay,You get base pay,You get base pay,You get base pay

    Cons

CEOs constatntly undermine your work, leave you on your own. Everyone in sales has left and they have previously gone through a ton of salespeople.

    Advice to Management

Too much to list.....Shannon Ryan is one of the most disliked people in the indutry. Clients rarely do repeat business and you get the pressure of selling with no support.

    Pros

The people at nlc are amazing. You are challenged in a way that is positive, productive and fun.

Although there's always a lot to do and the timelines can be tight, the management team always allowed me to set my own schedule. The importance nlc places on balance in work and in life is refreshing.

Finally, I was always challenged at non-linear; I am without a doubt better at my job today because of what I learned at non-linear.

    Cons

Travel. As a global organization, sometimes travel was necessary and if you're not a fan of hotels and plane food, it van get tiring.

    Advice to Management

Don't get complacent. When things are going well, it's easy to settle. Success throughout an organization can take years and years but if things start to deteriorate they deteriorate quickly.

You can have a personal life. No one controls if you arrive at 8am or 10am.. We're going agile, it's being nice.

    Cons

Too many "politics". Some people trying to 'block' you from advancing in your career..

    Advice to Management

The people and the variety of work are the best reasons. Bright, creative and optimistic people. Interesting projects with high profile clients. Co-founders are passionate and inspiring.

    Pros

Very close knit group with plenty of opportunity to advance in various areas. As a developer it is a great place to learn all aspects of a project's life cycle ranging from planning, implementation, and deployment. Rather than be confined to just development, developers are given the opportunity to touch on requirement gathering roles along with training roles.

    Cons

Being a smaller company, sometimes there are limited resources/knowledge regarding certain products and technologies. As a result, developers can be pigeon holed to certain areas. However, that being said, effort has been made to cross train developers so that this does not happen anymore.

    Advice to Management

Continue to cross train developers across the different practice areas to keep developer interest high.
