Former Employee – worked at Nordstrom
Pros – Good sales (if only the people would keep their items), you get to run the sales floor, fun to meet and satisfy new clients. Good company, depending on the branch.
Cons – Unfair scheduling (even when you give 2 months notice), management looks to get you for every and anything, management lies, unfair competition, no real policies towards coworkers, paycheck will be empty when people return their items, the medical insurance is a complete rip off. Watch out for management, they gossip like teenagers and try to hold people down that threaten their position. Happened to me personally.
Advice to Senior Management – Management needs to be better and more knowledgeable than their employees...If the Seattle branch could see some of the other branches, they would likely throw everyone out and start over again.
