Pros
Good use of flexible work practices allows employees to work wherever they need to whenever they need to.
The global nature of the business allows for sharing of resources.
Given the neglected product line there is a huge opportunity to make an impact in the industry and skip the issues competitors have faced.
Cons
The flexible work practices allow for international employees to work very long hours & spend countless evenings on the phone with US/Canada.
Nortel is still very much a US/Canadian centric organisation struggling to understand the rest of the world.
The product line has been neglected over the years do to financial issues.
