lots of responsability as employees were let go, we were expected to pick up the slack

low morale as employees were not sure of their future

Transparency is a buzz word highly used but the leadership team doesn't know it's meening.
Advice to Senior Management
Change the GE team, Nortel is not a process oriented company but a knowledge base one.

Pros
Nortel is a leader in the technology field, and could be a great comeback story!
Cons
The employee moral is not at its highest point due to the volatility the company has seen, but it is a great place to get started and work your way up.
Advice to Senior Management
Be upfornt to the employees, and let them know what the company is doing
