    Pros

    The best company I have ever worked for! I miss it every single day and I wish it could come back!! I will always miss it! There is nothing like it!

    Cons

    It went bankrupt! It could have been saved but it wasn't so so sad! The pay also wasn't the greatest but I'd take it back any day!

    Pros

    Loved the job and the travel. Had the chance to use my customer service skills in a variety of ways, making passengers have a great travel experience.

    Cons

    Any of the "cons" were quickly adjusted to. The usual issues associated with flying whether as a passenger or a flight attendant, such as delays, etc.

    Advice to Management

    Only that they should have listened a little more to employee suggestions. We, the employees really did care about our passengers, and believed we could have done better.

    It was fun while it lasted.

    Cons

    Gone forever. Chapter 7 took it away.

    Too bad they're off to ruin a different place.

    Was a wonderful way to see the world.

    compensation extremely low, but benefits were good

    Pros

    Travel benefits. Flexible schedule. A paycheck.

    Cons

    Mismanagement, toxic working environment. Incredible incompetence. American is a cash cow, and as long as people buy tickets despite the inconsistent awful service nothing will change. Our Ceo keeps repeating that we're the best in the world. I'd hate to see the rest then. Pay is below average. Look elsewhere.

    Pros

    Seeing the world on a paupers purse and enjoying the benefits of mingling with all cultures. Employees are fabulous and worked as a team looking out for each other.

    Cons

    Management does not care about employees. Poor pay. Too bad. Could have been a great little company.

    Advice to Management

    Should have cared more about employees instead of personal profit.

    Pros

    Traveling around the world. Traveling to amazing places you would never have thought of visiting. Getting to work for the Military. Great health benefits. 401k and matching programs.

    Cons

    Poor management. Very limited room for growth and promotion within the company. Pay is horrible. Extended times away from family and friends. Employees didn't feel cared about so employees didn't really care either.

    Advice to Management

    I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

    I have been working at North American Airlines full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Good people, we fly to interesting places, and a multitude of things to do. Plus a lot of our flying is for DoD, so you get the satisfaction of knowing that you're bringing home our nation's hero's back safely from the battlefield and their other deployments...

    Cons

    Sometimes communication isn't the best. Plus, it's the aviation industry, so you have to expect the up's and downs every once in a while.

    Advice to Management

    Sell, Sell, Sell, but above all keep up the communication to employees, especially those on the line who matter the most.
