    Well Run Organization

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsProfessional work environment. Very focused on achieving goals.

ConsVery traditional, conservative environment that might be unappealing to some.

Advice to Senior ManagementYou'll lose a lot of talented young people due to traditional policies (employees not allowed to drink).

    More With Less

    Consultant (Former Employee)
    Alpharetta, GA

ProsGenerous vacation paid time off. Good medical benefits. Personal trainer and gym on site. Cafeteria on site. Pleasant work environment with all the latest technology.

Cons"Do More with Less" is the mantra at NAMB. That translates to using minimal staff and maxium output. Be prepared to be overworked, stressed and under appreciated.

Advice to Senior ManagementAppreciate your employees and offer rewards and incentives. Don't work some people into the ground and have others who hardly do any work.

NAMB, Passionate About Sharing Christ, Starting Churches & Sending Missionaries

    Ministry Assistant (Current Employee)
    Alpharetta, GA

ProsThey do wonderful work throughout North America by planting churches, sharing Christ, sending missionaries. The Disaster Relief Team is like the Marines, "First In, Last Out." They are truly a caring group of people. If an employee is ill and cannot work, the company just don't toss you to the curb. They work with you and people can donate their leave. The employees are passionate about their work and it shows in the number of people they reach yearly.

ConsI wouldn't call it a downside. As with most people you want more pay. I'm learning to be a good steward over what I do have and pray that God will reward my faithfulness in the small things. NAMB is passionate about seeing lost souls saved and thus there are times when I feel pressued that I'm not doing enough to reach the lost.

Advice to Senior ManagementContinue to seek the Lord in your decision making for where we are going as an organization. Continue to not only ask management for their advice but also the "little people" who deal with things daily that go unnoticed. Continue to pray for God and work toward making NAMB an organization thatothers will want to use as a measuring stick. We're on our way to doing even greater things for the Kingdom.
