    Pros

great engineering programs nice people best library, ridiculously expansive chairs!! it has a panorama gaming room for students, what a surprise...

    Cons

it could have been done better with so many engineers. It produces fair amount of, if not many, high quality papers. But overall, the entrepreneurship spirit is lacking here.

    Advice to Management

if SAS is the best company for most students of a school, then this school must have serious problems.

I have been working at North Carolina State University full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

An institution with such a massive staff, faculty, and temporary worker population brings much room for growth and exposure. Lots of opportunities to learn, teach, participate, and get involved within the happenings and progress of NC State. You also can't beat state benefits and it's retirement program.

    Cons

Leadership is not timely in regards to notifying their teams of updates, memos, and policy changes. Pay will always be lower than private companies, with increases and bonuses more or less out of your hands as it's up to the Legislature each year.

I have been working at North Carolina State University full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

people are friendly, weather is so nice lots of local job opportunities

    Cons

Even through NC States on average has better engineering departments than its neighbor schools like Duke and UNC, but it is often over shadowed by the two.

    Advice to Management

Carefully plan on all your course works and try to earn full GPA from all of them, in that case I won't matter which school you are from.

I have been working at North Carolina State University part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The university provides students much resource such as textbooks, computers, chances to talk to people such as research faculty and people from the industry.

    Cons

The university is a relatively more flexible environment. Sometimes activities, transactions, or research-related purchases are not organized or responsive enough for students.

    Advice to Management

Have more rules to restrict students as well as faculty. Provide students more flexibility in making purchases for their researches.
