I worked at Northern Trust full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Its probably the best company for a fresher to start his/her career, the culture is very good, the HR plays a very important role in the company which helps any employee from being treated badly.

    Cons

The work life balance sucks in most of the process, I personally had worked for nearly 22 hours sometimes. The management decisions are not up to the mark. There are internal politics which sometimes prevents a person from growing in the organization.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The promotion policy is worse, they ask the candidate to apply for a position but the results are not based upon the interview that the candidate goes through, its pre-decided as to who is getting that position.

    Pros

    Work Culture is good.
Lot to learn or else you can do the work and get over with it, depends on the approach, both are acceptable.
Good place if you are joining as a manager.

    Cons

Pay is bad and so is the annual hike and bonus.
Politics is usual and managers keep playing with people to find new ways to prove something or the other.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Can look into compensation.

    Pros

Very Hood Learning, Work-Life Balance, Well Work Allocation, Minimum Overtime, Helpful offshore partner

    Cons

More than knowledge tenure is preached does not matter how efficient the partner is.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Its better to analyze certain things on their own than having faith on tenured partner who preaches grouping in the team.

    2. They will call you on all public holidays india / US / UK forget rule, which client you are working.
    3. They will call you on election day also which should be holiday in india as per govt but they dont care.
    4. Very minimal salary hike , TCS have better salary hikes than these guys.
    5. They will call you on new year for 2 hours only to avoid giving you comp offs.
    6. Cabs , why you are offering when you cant manage. Some one who live 5kms away take 30 mins in worst traffic will get picked 1 and half hour before.
    7. None of drivers have edicate to talk to lady employees and complain against them doesn't reach to right person.
    8. On 150th anniversary company gave some cheap refreshment in costly boxes. Whom you are making fool?

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Pros

Work environment is good, very good people around, best for the freshers and those who are interested in curricular activity.

    Cons

I saw a very biased managers , promotions based on how well you please management than your performance .Growth is too bad , no work life balance even though they say there is work life balance .

May be good place for some and may not be for others, people will be punished for voicing the concern
