ProsThe benefits are great, especially if you have small children. The jobs are often something that most people are capable of doing.

ConsThe pay isn't enough to support a family and the job specifications are constantly changing.

Advice to Senior ManagementMost of the big decisions have been taken away from local managers and placed in the hands of the operations management. That makes a lot of decisions incoherent to the rank and file.

Former Employee – worked at Northwest Savings Bank

ProsI took this job because the manager told me there was room for growth and it had a great benefits package.

ConsUnforttunately when I realized my manager had no plans to move me up a position and a pay grade if I could do the work for lower pay, I became disenchanted. I spoke up and was quickly shot down, so I decided to go back to school. When she found this out, she became personally offended, so for my sanity we had to cut ties. Also they were quick to say no to any requests for time off.

Advice to Senior ManagementMy managers took everything personally. Honestly if you don't want turnover, then don't hire 20+ year olds who desire moving up int the company and you shoot down any requests causing them to leave for better pastures.
