    Pros

    Decent Salary/ Benefits are great

    Cons

No structured training/ on the job coaching can be spotty and the job changes without proper training.

    Advice to Management

More of a structured training department plan, give what is expected of your employee up front not while on the job

I worked at Northwestern Medicine full-time

    Pros

Beautiful campus, good benefits, nice location

    Cons

NMH is a nice hospital but does not have patience for new hires working in a new department. A few weeks of training and you're put on the schedule with no room for error. If you make any mistakes at all they will fire you before your probation period and make you non rehireable

    Advice to Management

Don't hire people just to fire them at the drop of a dime. Maybe you won't have to fill positions so often

I have been working at Northwestern Medicine (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Many front-line staff that care deeply for the patient, and go above and beyond.

    Cons

Little support for the front-line staff, paltry raises, top-heavy institution with enormous paychecks/raises. Mergers with new hospitals create growth that is not sustainable with current staffing.

    Advice to Management

Find a solution to staffing/mentoring, allow education coordinators to do their jobs without having a patient load, provide better incentives
