I have been working at Northwestern Memorial Hospital full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Very experience and intelligent staff; exposure to interesting cases and learning opportunities. Lovely Streeterville location easily accessible by public transportation. Healthcare benefits package is top notch.

    Cons

Management consumed by the bottom line and cost cutting. Paid time off benefits package is not great, especially for a full-time exempt employee. Few to no opportunities for advancement into management if you are not a registered nurse.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

So you're going to close the cafeteria to build a shopping mall, laying all those staff off and making us spend twice as much for food at the chain restaurants. Gee thanks, as if walking over to Water Tower Place isn't close enough.
