I worked at Northwestern Memorial Hospital

    Pros

Great benefits, top pay in Chicago for healthcare. Paid according to experience and education.

    Cons

Some employees would slack off often leaving others to do their work. Parking is expensive and far from the facility, even with the parking garages that are suppose to be a "discount".

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Reduce the costs of healthcare per pay period. Hold employees that lack high performance more accountable. Get closer parking and more of a discount for employees to park.

    Pros

Laid back. Easy job. You will learn a lot about insurance, assuming you don't already.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Same advice every one offers: Listen to the suggestions the people actually doing the job have to offer. The department could be much more efficient.
