  1. Nice place to work.

I worked at Norwood Promotional Products part-time

    Pros

I had no problems when I worked there. It was a part time job that worked around my school hours.

    Cons

No awful cons at all. Normal corporate office stuff. Petty office politics and what not. But really. You have that anywhere. Everyone has different agendas and is at a different point in their lives.

    Advice to Management

Give great pay, benefits and bonuses. Be open to new ideas. Don't always worry about number 1 first. All the usual stuff that is hard to do once you become a manager.

    Pros

Great people! Made many friends and colleagues. Fun locations too.

    Cons

Gets very busy during the calendar season. Don't plan too many things from August through December.

    Advice to Management

Keep looking for fun and innovative ways to keep morale high during peak season. Otherwise, make sure you keep rewarding the loyal, great people who work for you.

    Pros

Opportunities for OT help to brig the pay in line to support a family

    Cons

Offensive behavior (racial slurs/suggestive comments) is brushed off as "just how ______ is" Pay is low until OT kicks in-- then it's decent Upper management doesn't interact (speak) to floor associates Floor associates are regularly reminded they are replaceable and referred to as "children and animals"

    Advice to Management

Show people you attach some value to them.
