Former Employee – worked at Novariant
Pros – Lots of smart people
Fairly small close knit place
Very real target market
Very cool technology
Cons – Too many years "Starting Up"
Need to forget about being bought out and worry about competing with heavyweights
Need to start driving innovation from bottom up sometimes
Put individuals goals aside and look at profitable markets.
Advice to Senior Management – Start working on derivative software offerings in farming domain, there is lower startup cost for small company

Former Employee – worked at Novariant
Pros – As an engineer, it is a great place to work if you want to learn everything about GPS technology and vehicle control systems.
Cons – Being a small company it offers a very limited career path.
It is very difficult to introduce new ideas in an engineering department that is stuck in 20 year old software engineering practices.
Advice to Senior Management – Sell the company to an organization that knows how to manage growth and expenses, leverage the technology and its patents.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
