    Pros

Flexible work schedule with competitive salary and benefits package

    Cons

Like any semiconductor equipment companies, it depends on the health of semiconductor industry; always the first one to get reduction in force and the last to start hiring again.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Like the company values, but it had changed since some other top executive were hired from AMAT and it didn't work out well.

    Pros

Jumbo shrimp at quarterly meetings during the good times

    Cons

Bread and water at most quarterly meetings. Half days means 12 hours at a minimum, not 4 hours and go home.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take the buyout, retire, and stop pretending to be competent managers. Must have paid Jim Cramer a lot to be a fanboy.

Former Employee - Human Resources Generalist in San Jose, CA

I worked at Novellus full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

There was A LOT of work to do, so there were plenty of opportunities for learning new things and skills. The people were great too.

Management was, for the most part, all white males around 50-60 years old. They were resistant to change, and did little to improve the employee experience.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus more on your people and the company values -- to increase employee engagement and retention
