    Pros

Large company, located in all parts of the country.

    Cons

No merit increases, lack of communication, say one thing and don't follow through.

    Cons

Novitex focuses a lot attention on safety sometimes too much.

    Pros

Seem like a good place for young people to learn and also get experience in the workforce. Basic things like people skills, attention to detail and work confidence can help spring board a person into better career moves.

    Cons

Management is unorganized and out of sync with employees, mostly to cater to the will of the clients needs. Feels like legalized slavery.

  5. Raises

I have been working at Novitex

    Pros

The people are great to work with.

    Cons

I keep hearing that they do not give any raises which means a high turn over rate. You can get promoted but you can't get a raise. This is ridiculous.

    Advice to Management

Give employee's a raise to match the hard work or good work that your employee's put in. If you're getting a new contract it means your employee's are doing well, and there should be no excuse about employee's getting a raise.

    Pros

Overall a healthy company that has eyes toward future growth. Attempting to expand services and become more relevant in industry.

    Cons

Novitex is owned by a private equity company. Employees seem to be less important while revenue and cost savings drive all decisions.

    Advice to Management

Take care of the employees, don't just say "we didn't meet our numbers so we aren't doing raises this year". Employees in the field aren't stupid and are fed up with no raises. It's been years!

    Pros

Supervisor is nice and very helpful . Good hours. Sort of close to home for me!

    Cons

Next level managers don't know much about the job. You need to answer the same questions at least 3 times. Pay is not that far above minimum wage. Lot of tasks are redundant as you have to input the same info 3 times . Lots of phone and on line meetings which have little value to the job itself. You have different User I.D's for each account you sign into. You need a notebook to keep track . Between Novitex and client and vendors

    Advice to Management

Try to stream line your reports. Inside of doing inputting info 3 or 4 times , just make it once and have the report go the supervisor as well as your accounting site. Stop the on line and phone interviews the presenters are just boring.

    Pros

Teamwork is involved , don't have to wake up in the mornings to find an outfit and also it's not a crowed place to work in.

    Cons

Don't interact with a lot of people , not comfortable in clothing , not good pay

    Advice to Management

    Nothing really

    Pros

Work is easy to learn, fairly simple and repetitive. Wage is decent enough for single-living situations. Good for temporary work.

    Cons

Management is uncooperative and unorganized. No raises for any positions. Policies concerning PTO is restrictive and taking unpaid time off is grounds for termination.
