I have been working at Npower Ny full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

It's great to get up in the morning and know that what you are doing makes a difference. The people add dedicated and smart with a range of talents and unique personalities.

    Cons

It's a nonprofit so resource constraints do sometimes get in the way.

    Advice to Management

    Stay the course.

I worked at Npower Ny (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I worked within our Managed Services Department providing remote IT support for out Non Profit Clients. I worked with a great team in my department where we all learned from each other and help each other build out technical skills.

    Cons

Management lost sight of delivering services to our client in a quest to grown the amount of clients we had and sell a service beyond our ability. Basically they wanted to keep growing the amount of clients we had and not hire more technical staff to meet the workload.

    Advice to Management

Where do i begin? It would be great if we got paid for our over time...late night working until 2-3am in the morning or even comp time. It would have been great in such a small org if the CEO knew my name and what I actually did. Dont out source ever again. It was your biggest mistake besides treating staff poorly.
