I have been working at Nu Skin full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Nu Skin goes above and beyond to boost employee moral and rewards you for your hard work. They have an unprecedented 401k matching program, offer generous Christmas gifts and consistent bonuses... Provide advancement opportunities, access to free Nu Skin products, a free 24-hour onsite employee fitness center. I highly recommended this place to anyone I talk to.

    Cons

I honestly cannot think of any negatives about Nu Skin.

I worked at Nu Skin full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

2 times a year they threw a great employee party
If you were there for 10 years you received a bonus
The free products from the employee store were nice perk to the job

    Cons

Dated pay scale. My corporate job paid below national average with a 1% (at best pay increase each year) not even close to cost of living upkeep.
Employee insurance was expensive and limited in options
Very hard to move up in the company and very bias to who had the right connections was who got the job
Not very flexible with time worked, even for exempt employees. Would require employees to be in at 8am and work until 5pm. If something came up during the day would not be allowed to leave to handle it and come back in there evening to finish up work .
Vacation time is very dated. Only had 2 weeks off a year until 5 years then it went to 3 weeks off. Very slow to accumulate and not competitive, compared to what companies like Adobe are doing (unlimited PTO)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Update current business practices/ trends to what is current in the market. A nice Christmas gift does not make up for the lack of competitive pay and raises. Actually look for ways to use employee talent and help them develop it so that they can advance. Don't be afraid to take risks on employees to see how it will pay off.

I have been working at Nu Skin part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Being able to choose who you want to work with. Picking your own hours. Residual income. Products are fabulous!!!

    Cons

Products are expensive. Monthly quota is hard to achieve and maintain to be able to make enough money to live on. Hard to find people who believe in the dream of a network marketing business.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Change the pay structure so new people can make a success at this. Instead of it being so much about the well established.
