    Pros

    - Interesting projects that push you to think analytically - Great exposure to higher level executives who were all very helpful and friendly - Competitive Pay - High quality mentorship from supervisors

    Cons

    - I was the only intern in my office, so I had to be sure to branch out in order to have a presence - Since a lot of employees come from acquisitions some of them feel more loyal to the former company than Nuance.

I have been working at Nuance full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Nuance is a fast growing company and made a lot of acquisitions over the past years. This created a very vivid and diverse culture. Management typically comes as combination of internal resources and newly acquired talent. This helps adding value, external views and new concepts.

    Cons

Just like in case of many other companies, growth pressure and quarter-orientation makes a lot of stress on divisions as well as on individuals, regardless if you are a manager or lower level employee. Depending on the culture you are coming from, this can be considered as dynamic or less-organized; agile or stressful, - but at the end of the day most people face with high expectations and works under more than necessary stress which you need to learn manage to succeed.

I have been working at Nuance full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The team members are very knowledgeable, helpful and generally have a good direction on where their team fits in where the company is going.

    Cons

With so many people remote or in other locations at times hard to really see how all the teams fit together.

    Advice to Management

I would have all US new hires to come to Burlington, learn the company, understand the goals and then send the team members back to their homes or other business sites.
