I have been working at Nursefinders full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Fast hiring practice fair pay plenty of work available for the favorite nurses.

    Cons

Not ethnic and culturely sensitive or sincere when hiring African American Nurses or low income Individuals . Have them go through the whole hiring process to Cash in for Tax Benefits for their Company and then Never put the people to WORK!!!! I think this maybe ILLEGAL. Wonder what the EEOC and Human relations commission would say about theses actions. Shape up!!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop using deceitful practices. Treat every applicant fairly!

I worked at Nursefinders full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Opportunity for upward movement. Innovative company.

    Cons

Like many companies, the focus is on growth and bottom line. The energy moves away from the reason we are in the business that we are in. We put the energy toward money and people forget that we are here to take care of people's needs.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It is important to remember the front line workers. The people in the field and administrative staff in the local offices often felt forgotten by the corporate office.

    Cons

There are no benefit packages offered such as 401k and health insurance for home health nurses

    I worked at Nursefinders

    Pros

Great workplace environment. I was an a Psychology major for my undergraduate so this field was a natural place to work at.

    Cons

Lower wages than some comparable companies in my area.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Colleagues are always willing to help.

I have been working at Nursefinders

    Pros

My recruiter is the best. She works hard to find contracts and goes to bat about my pay issues. The benefits are good, a little pricey but comparable to most companies. The management works together in an expediant manner to facilitate placing a employee in a contract.

    Cons

Nursefinders concentrates on big contracts and loses out on not going for the smaller hospital market. I believe that there is a niche market there that would be profitable. The company subcontracts a lot of business out that they might need to keep.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Create a dept that only goes for the small hospitals to provide more contracts.

I have been working at Nursefinders

    Pros

some of the best reasons to work for nursefinders is that they find you assignments rather quickly. They offer competitive hourly wages. They are always working on finding your next assignments.

    Cons

Some of the down sides to working for nursefinders is that you are always having to find another place to work after you are already comfortable at one place. Although, that is part lf the deal when you work for a staffing agency.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The advice I would give to senior management is to keep in contact with the employees.

I have been working at Nursefinders

    Pros

Within the local office, the management is very supportive. The corporate offices can sometimes be overwhelming to deal with.

    Cons

Too much paperwork, it seems that the corporate managment is out of touch with the local managment. The amount of time spent on trival things could be eliminated so that more time could be spent on employees and their needs and the updated tools to get their job done.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Spend more time in the individual offices talking to employees both in-office and staffing employees. Find ways to cut out the excess day to day paperwork so that managers can have more hands on time with the staff.
