    Pros

O'Neil offers good pay, so-so benefits, and mostly nice people to work with. They are a privately owned small-medium company with lots of military work. If you are used to DoD work, they are a good place to gain experience.

    Cons

They have a high turnover rate, and relatively disfunctional management staff. Open communication is frowned upon. Highly structured and political atmosphere, especially for such a small company. If you have the right friends within the company, you will go farther.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Lighten up and judge people by their work product. You should encourage professional development and growth in the lower ranks, instead of treating them like pawns in your personal "game of thrones."

Started out good. Company tries to stay on the cutting edge of technology but has gone down hill fast.

    Pros

Most of the best reasons are gone.

    Cons

    - Very poor benefits. Your better off sticking with the COBRA plan of your previous employer
    - Unrealistic deadlines
    - Very low pay
    - Random layoffs or "Reduction in Force"

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Before selling products that don't yet exist consult your engineers as to the likelihood you can even build the product in the time you quote your customers.
