    Pros

    Fantastic culture, top client list, extremely capable and talented individuals.

    Cons

    Playing catch up in terms of structure and focus with the rest of the industry. Has yet to maximize its potential as a major player.

    Advice to Management

    Planning process has gone through some radical changes, but not been embedded or settled upon. Need to ingrain the process and provided the adequate resource to allow for it to take shape and function

    Pros

    OMD UK employs some very smart, fun people and, at the top of its game, it's an amazing place. Some of the training opportunities are stellar and it offers a wide experience potential across its broad range of client types and marketplaces.

    Cons

    Change can be slow and it's still working out what is it's true place in the market is (use of buzzwords like creativity champions doesn't count). Clique mentality and office politics at times can generate a defensive, silo mentality that is a real barrier to business progression.

    Advice to Management

    Break down the silos and get back to the unified, big family, let's make a difference culture that once existed.

    Satisfying work, social, focus on training, and great clients, focus on people, very understanding with personal needs and time off

    Cons

    Poor compensation at lower levels, unhealthy work/life balance, no consistency in management or clarity on career path

    Advice to Management

    OMD could give employees more independence and flexibility and empower them with more resources from technology. Additionally, they should review the pay given to employees at lower levels - grads, planners, etc.

    Pros

    Strong culture
    Young, vibrant staff
    Benefits and pastoral care are excellent
    Excellent senior management
    Excellent social life opportunities
    Good potential to make strong friendships

    Cons

    Potential glass ceiling for development - there's a strategy of 'serving time' in order to progress and talented individuals aren't always recognised early enough
    Pay is not the most competitive and is leveraged against all of the wider benefits.

    Advice to Management

    Recognise talent and reward them accordingly.

    Very friendly harde working people, creativity and insight sits at the heart of every media plan

    Cons

    Low compensation for all employees, specifically the grads

    Advice to Management

    They should work to retain their best employees before it's too late, versus trying to pay the minimum to keep them when they plan to leave
