Pros – Average comp
Good bonus
Plenty of vacay
Great asset base
Laid back work place (at least at ONG)

Cons – Professional and career development are talked about but not specifically addressed nor are they acted upon.
Lots of dead weight in the work force and it seems ONG won't fire someone unless they break the law. This drags down the rest of the company.
Over staffed and not enough work to keep everyone busy. Typical of a quasi governmental entity like a utility.
Low wages compared to other companies.

Advice to Senior Management – Communicate possible career development plans or processes to employees so they can have an attainable career goal to work towards.
Bump salary so employees won't leave.

Pros – Prestigious company. Management is fair and great to work with. Oneok has many great individuals working for improving the company and it's processes.

Cons – Lack of upward mobility, tough to get raises even with stellar reviews. IT Is largely contracted out. No employee morale boosters.

Advice to Senior Management – Ditch the contracts. It's not a good scenario.

Pros – Friendly work environment. Laid back.

Cons – Low pay and there is a good old boy system in place, so getting promoted is not likely unless you are part of the fore-mentioned group.

Advice to Senior Management – Be open to letting those who have the proper education and experience to advance without trying to cling to an employee because you are afraid to have to re-train a replacement.
