    Direct deposit paycheck in your account

    Cons

    CEO demeans Sr employees. Swears and threatens employees in front of other Sr management.

    I will cut your .... off and stuff them down your throat until you choke to death (said in front of other management at a monthly business review)

    Pros

    1. Very leisure at work with no new challenges. Initially to settle down, this is good to bring some stability but at the end you will realize that you would loose pace with the new technologies and trends. And you can not be relevant to the software industry over a period of time.For a while you feel good, soon you realize that you are not relevant to the new technologies.
    2. The target dates for completion of the jobs are highly negotiable but at the end you realize that flexibility does not take you too forward in terms of new learning.
    3. Open communication with US staff is good and organisation started learning to work globally in multiple locations. In a way this is good, but you do not get the core technical jobs to execute. Writing few lines of code do not make you fully knowledgeable professional of the software industry.
    4. Good exposure to project management aspects in some projects and certain projects you loose the visibility.

    Cons

    1. Real quality processes to be followed and seriously executed.Not many opportunities for technical advancements.
    2. The new young generation technical people may not find it interesting in terms of technology and product management.
    3. Very old style of management and managers may find out of place with the practices.Becoming conventional style of management and this will find no place in the industry.
    4. Too much of over lap with the joint ventures and other group companies.

    Advice to Management

    Need to bring new energy to the people, processes and technology. Need to really look into individual strengths of the members, train them and bring them at par with the new skills. Else they struggle a ,lot to find a place in the industry.Bring newness and energy in terms of people, process and technology.Senior managers should become more role models which needs to be seriously looked into, otherwise they will be outdated and irrelevant in the industry.Do not feel shy to fill the positions with young and talented. New generation will fill the organisation with energy all along their stay.Work on strengths and weaknesses and there is much scope to improve. Good Luck.

    Pros

    Good friendly staff, Scope to learn in R & D divisions. Infrastructure/relevant facilities are good.
    5 days working.

    By working in OSI systems, will get good exposure in manufacturing & R&D.

    Cons

    Very Cheap Company with old ERP versions & using outdated technologies. Outdated HR Policies.
    1.No Professionalism & professional growth.
    2.Low Standards
    3. Low & very poor compensation even compared to their competitors/ similar industries & markets.
    4. Some managers implement their own thoughts & rules on their employee's (not all, only few in some divisions ). Demands to work after office hours to finish the work without providing any benefits. Assigns 20 hrs work and ask them to complete in 8 hrs which is burden to the employee. and remains in office after office hours.
    5. Lack of management Tracking / Tracing.
    6. Few employee's work more than 11 hours a day.
    7.Need to work in Holidays & Festivals.
    8. No training provided.

    Advice to Management

    Improve your standards, Maintain professionalism. Check your employee's working hours, how much time they are spending at their desks daily. Provide them proper training. Give timely appraisals.

    OSI Systems is growing, not employee's & their benefit's growing.

    Job opportunities are extremely limited with no advancement available.

    Cons

    Small division with good working relationships.

    Don't be so quick to let employees go for budget reasons.

    Family oriented company. Keep the senior management and you can survive. Don't try to innovate or deviate

    Pros

    Good work life balance, good peer support and good team to work for.
    Good learning experience and there used to be great onsite manager who is sound in technical and personal aspects.

    Cons

    Salary not per market standards and hike is not given on time. Every year there is 4 to 6 months delay and compensation is not paid

    Advice to Management

    Management in India show grow up and be little more mature.
