    Pros

Decent pay if you like commission not hourly.

    Cons

Upper management dont care about their employees concerns, Long hours till you learn route, Severe competition between drivers and salesmen/woman (trying to steal clients off your route/sales area), Unfreindly work environment, Everybody is expendable no matter how hard you work. Management is unresponsive to issues for a resolve.

    Advice to Management

I personally have nothing for management advice. They have proved ineffective in any response to concerns or issues with their employees.

    Pros

Fantastic products, some fantastic people work in this organization, but unfortunately only a couple of the members of the leadership team fall under that umbrella.

    Cons

No opportunities for advancement, no career path, no development or coaching. Hourly associates in retail locations paid on a "Performance Rewards Plan" basis but are only guaranteed (and frequently only make) minimum wage (INCLUDING part-time managers, aka Shift Leaders). No human resources department, instead HR issues are handled by that divisions VP who are by no means HR experts.

    Advice to Management

The company is in significant trouble and while some members of leadership are aware and acknowledge this, others turn a blind eye thinking that everything will just turn out "okay". Quit saying you want to be a world class company and start acting like, and treating your employees like they belong to, one.

    Pros

    Pay and Benefits are awesome

    Cons

Poor district managers. They are running these bussinesses into the ground along with the store managers. They have very little business knowledge. Had a district manager work at a movie theatre before working at Oberweis.

    Advice to Management

    Change out your district managers

    Pros

    Decent starting pay
    50% discount card for stores

    Cons

    Management is non existent.

Self-entitled culture meaning you have to adhere to their silly rules of how to work because they don't like change at all.

No set hours what so ever. During fall/winter expect to work 8-14 hrs a day with NO BREAKS. During the summer expect to work 4-7 hrs.

Inconsistent break schedule. You get lucky if you don't get screwed over your lunch breaks. Also if you don't get relieved for a lunch break and work a full day and it shows that you didn't clock out for lunch you don't get paid for that lunch. They pay for your lunch period but if you don't clock out and in you don't get paid for it.

When people quit expect to have their responsibilities pushed unto to you.

    Environment is smelly and wet.

They don't warn you about needing steel toes. They don't provide clothing or boots until after 60-90 days so expect to come home in smelly clothing needing to wash everyday.

    Advice to Management

Replace management, stop taking advantage of people, stop the gossip and rumors (small company) very unprofessional, follow employment law for breaks and lunches, stop the micromanagement, trust your employees or don't hire them in the first place.
