    Pros

There are two companies here. (1) OCI, and (2) Advantage Consulting. OCI is full time, paid bench, average benefits. Advantage is more like the other contract firms. There are a lot of great companies on the preferred vendor list of both companies OCI employees can switch to the other company for a good contract (and stay OCI). On at least 4 occasions, I was placed at a customer site WITHOUT an interview. This is due to OCI's incredible reputation. Seriously OCI is cozy with a number of companies -- making it possible to go to a client without vetting. BTW, you can become a Partner and earn more. There are many who have done this.

    Cons

Their benefits won't match up with large companies.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good job, and maybe make more opportunities for development staff to meet managers.

Fake – “they want everyone to have a home” run away from the lies!

    Pros

Everything is great until you start peeling the onion back and realize you were sold a bill of goods. The owner controls everything and those in the inner circle follow like spineless lemmings.

    Cons

If you like shut doors and backstabbing this is the place for you.

    Advice to Management

I didn’t see any management while I was employed there. If there is the word “manager” in your title go look in a mirror and start laughing.

Not a family member - forget it

    Pros

None - I wouldn't want to work for them again.

    Cons

Everyone in "power" is a family member. If one doesn't like you, you are out. There are a few who are long time employees, but if you are not one of those, you have to work hard to get there. The employees are accepting, but the management is not.

    Advice to Management

Reel in your family. Business is not family.

    Pros

Easy to navigate plain english documents above the open source products they support.
Many of their people are very good technically (and many of the people that they say are their best and brightest are not.)

    Cons

Attach themselves to anything that may create a sense of being in the elite echelons of software engineering.

Ar a far cry from the world class rub of there academic associations.

They exploit youth farming them out at elite knowledge rates without any training only to get trained by ex-employees on the job.

Elitists internally towards each other, toward the customer, salesmen treats you like you were born yesterday and comes across fake, and disingenuous.

Like to paint themselves as clever foxes in a stupid world.

    Advice to Management

Hire some extroverts with fathering skills.
