    Pros

Great senior management, great employees, great working environment. My management team was very team based. Opinions mattered from the senior VP to the Admins. Many had over 20 years with company. I would have stayed forever.

    Cons

Company was purchased and the new owner laid off numerous of those people with the most experience with the lines The new company did not have deep knowledge off. They also changed the culture to absolutely no focus on employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Find out how Oce maintained such high quality employees for so many years and reinstate some of those policies.

    Pros

At one time, Siemens Nixdorf had the best technology.

    Cons

Senior Management is feckless. They are only driven by individual greed. Not a very paternal corporation which got worse with Canon. The president has recon photos of Pearl Harbor in his office above his desk taken just before the attack with Canon Cameras.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Retire and make the world a better place!

    Pros

Meeting new people. Fostering long-term friendships. Learning what NOT to do and how NOT to run a company.

    Cons

Outsourcing companies like this believe that they are your last resort. Because they are in the business of putting in the lowest bid to obtain and keep contracts, the employees are the ones that usual take the hit for that.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you pay, they will stay, and give their all! You hire adults not children. If an adult behaves like a child (whether in management or lower level) then get rid of them. If you think highly of yourselves then you will attract and keep decent people. Pay close attention to the needs of the ones on the lower levels...they are the ones that have hands on experience with the clients. You can't make a peach cobbler from lemons. That goes for your employees, your equipment, and supplies.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get up to date. Revitalize an attitude of winning. Remind management where they once started. Show concern for the inequities that the reps are taking to the street. Consider some business training, start with Business 101, for the management team.

Very poor senior management with no vision of the future. Continues to make stupid mistakes. Huge egos at the top get in the way of sound business judgement.

Too Machiavellian. Favors only a few chosen acolytes. Poor vision for the corporation based solely on senior management bonuses. Sales people are despised. The President is a fool.
