    Pros

Mostly dedicated coworkers, flexible work hours, interesting work

    Cons

Increasingly onerous red tape and paperwork, company is losing some it's reputation for being quick and "fastest to field". No processes are in place, and good old buddy system.

    Pros

One on the "Coolest" Companies I have ever worked for. Everyone there has had an interesting life. Every manager I met with or had dealing with, was leader and interested in helping all of their workers.

    Cons

I never saw a downside with this company

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work.

    Pros

This company is one of the best I will recommend for any of my friends to apply and work for as long as he or she is qualified for any position . There is no discrimination of race or ethinicity be you black or white.

    Cons

There are some basic weaknesses in some aspect of management which is generally present in any organization; when it come to staff promotions and assignments which some personnel may hope to have attend but delay to be assigned such responsibility. This mostly occurs when their expectations is after the annual budgets has been approved and they are asked to wait until the new budget planning.

    Advice to Management

They should look into this area very effectively as it may affect production in most cases.

    Pros

Well executed project management process, if you like the PMP weak matrix methodology.

    Cons

Operations makes many project management decisions and the PM is left to clean up the mess and take the blame for everything. Upper management is all former operations people, so there is no support from them when there are issues.

    Advice to Management

Allow project managers and engineers to be promoted into upper management.

    Pros

Benefits are good and normally allowed to transfer to different divisions

    Cons

Sexually harassing and discriminatory toward female offshore employees. If you don't have a good pair of knee pads and play their game you won't get ahead and they will find a way to get rid of you. No career advancement beyond Rov Tech for any females offshore.
It doesn't matter how long you have been with the company, the company and upper management are loyal to no one!!

    Advice to Management

Clean house and join the rest of us in the 21st Century

    Pros

Good place to start out in the industry. Highly recommend getting five years experience here, then moving on to another company. Good reputation of company.

    Cons

Pay is lower than most companies in this sector. Not much room for upward mobility.

    Pros

Company has grown their leadership internally, and it works. From J. Huff in the 90's to current..it keeps the personality and culture of the company in tact.

    Cons

Very widespread geographically, tough to get a handle on all that OII does

    Advice to Management

J.Huff is legendary, some of his "teachings" really are the best - don't lose these! for example - . no task is below you; you can delegate responsibility by cannot delegate accountability...

    Pros

Great work atmosphere, small company values in a large corporation

    Cons

    Not so competitive salaries.

    Advice to Management

Career advances should be considered because of individuals work ethic and production value. Not solely by their educational level.
