Only a pit stop. Not a place to grow.

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)
    West Palm Beach, FL

ProsChallenging work content that gives deep insight into the mortgage servicing industry. Overtime available. Great people to work alongside.

ConsRampant micromanagement, constant mergers and acquisitions that create staffing issues and high turnover, little work-life balance (in certain departments)

Advice to Senior ManagementValue people. Please.

    Mistake

    (Former Employee)

ProsWill have to think of one... If you're technically talented, then you will be in demand because no real talent sticks around at this place.

ConsPolitical hierarchy with lots of impediments to productivity; horrible work-life balance

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep focusing on getting people from overseas. They are the only ones who would be willing to stick with you.

ProsPros? What pros are you talking about?

ConsYour job will be offshored. It's all about the shareholders and not about the value of people.

Really not sure how Ocwen is still in business

    Human Resources Team (Former Employee)
    Coppell, TX

ProsStruggle to find anything positive to say; they acquired some good talent in their latest acquisitions.

Conspoor management, poor HR; manual processes, lacking technology and anything innovative.

Advice to Senior ManagementRead the reviews on Glassdoor, many of them have the same underlying message. Treat employees like human beings. Good people are what make a company tick; the reputation of this company is not good. Understood that layoffs are never a good thing, but they can be done with dignity and respect. Listen to new ideas and become more innovative; get away from all the manual processes and micromanagement.

What was a stable company is now a meat grinder

    Relationship Manager (Current Employee)

ProsThe employees and the pay make staying on while one can the only upside.

ConsCalls are monitored and assigned quality scores on one platform using a quality matrix for a totally different platform leading to impossible to obtain passing quality monitors. Stress and zero communication from higher ups. There used to be a sense that the company cared about long term employees and took pride in how long people worked for the company. Now it is a meat grinder, two and a half years of exceeds company performance levels came crashing down to threats of being fired in TWO months! This job is a meat grinder.

Advice to Senior ManagementClearly Ocwen wasn't ready to go from 500 employees to over 3,000. Stop pretending to play ball with the big boys because the company is a joke. It's like a garage band manager bought Aerosmith over night and shrugs shoulders saying well it worked for 500 people so it should work for 3,000 + people. Which is not the case. pathetic excuse for a company.

    Employees are considered disposable bodies

    Manager (Former Employee)
    West Palm Beach, FL

ProsSome wonderful people work there, and I learned many valuable lessons during my 7 years there.

ConsAwful management, when put in supervisory role expected to work at least 10 hours a day, no middle management so ridiculous amount of direct reports, Too many hours, too much work, no help from management, and overlook qualified internal candidates in order to hire externally.

Advice to Senior ManagementIt takes a long time to fully understand loan servicing and employee retention and knowledge is valuable, stop treating people as meaningless button pushers.
