    Growing company with a small company feel - HR answers your calls and e-mails quickly!

    ProsGood leadership team - seem genuinely interested in making sure employees are happy.

    ConsThe company is primarily in the DoD support contract business - an industry that's certain to decline for the foreseeable future due to budget pressure. Odyssey seems to be in some good niches, but virtually no company in this space will avoid impacts. Also, like every other government contractor, you are consignment labor. It's the nature of the industry that you are useful only as long as the current contract lasts.

    Advice to Senior ManagementMake it a practice to check in on each employee periodically - otherwise, they have no real connection to the company.

    Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Be Careful of these people

    ProsNice the first week but expect to be thrown to the wolves after that.

    ConsThey are incompetent and expect security and network accessibility to take forever. They are unsupportive and treat their employees very badly. The worst experience I've ever had. They are basically bullies, expect to be thrown under the bus on a regular basis if you work at Hanscom. Please save your sanity and do not work for this company. The left hand does not know what the right is doing.

    Atmosphere not as supportive as I thought

    ProsGreat team members outside of management, benefits and 401K plan were good.

    ConsIt was difficult to find managerial support regarding the challenges I faced in my position - positive feedback was almost non-existent. Environment was chaotic and challenging, and I was given little to no direction. It felt like I was being spied on by the customer, and criticism became personal instead of professional.

    Advice to Senior ManagementFocus on the positive things your employees do - listen to what they have to say if they are having challenges. Be supportive.
