    Pros

International brands, big budget accounts and production. Civil working environment, people are decent.

Mostly Business to Business accounts. A fair amount of layoffs.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep the civility, go after consumer accounts. Keep creative management more consistent, too many changes.

    Pros

CCO Chris G. really wants to make the work better, and is slowly elevating the creative.

    Cons

Dysfunction. Empty suits. Empty promises. No support. Faux empathy. Never any action taken to help its people.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Wake up, and take responsibility for your staff. Recognize the extreme morale problem and stop burying your heads in the sand.

    Pros

Good culture. Good people. Good opportunities if you have a supporting manager.

    Cons

Do not compensate employees. Takes forever to get a raise and when you do it is insulting.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Figure out the compensation so that employees get rewarded as they should.

I have been working at Ogilvy & Mather full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Brand name on resume. Big accounts to name drop before they drop the agency.

    Cons

Bureaucratic dinosaur. No consistency. Management lies about looking after staff, "their most important asset". Occasional free snacks and beer isn't the same as a real pay rise and acknowledged contribution to the smooth running of the business. Money spent on chauffeurs and first class plane tickets for senior mgt more important than providing the talent with a fair wage.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Transparency. Who got pay raises and bonuses? Why? Put your money where your mouth is. Staff feedback requested so #wethinkwematter but results are never announced. Stop blaming WPP & the economy. You want the money yourselves rather than keeping a loyal, hardworking, skilled workforce. How hard is it to give a little % of your $ to the little people? What advice would you give clients about moving with the times and corporate reputation??? Show not tell. Exactly.

    Pros

Extremely talented colleagues, lots of freedom to learn new skills on the job, ability to seek mentorship if you see it out

    Cons

Can be pretty bureaucratic at times, not as collaborative in some departments, however, if you work in a great team, you can benefit a lot
