    Pros

    It is easy to do you duties here and there isn't the pressure of sell,sell, sell. It's kinda like a walled off garden that once you get in you never want to leave.

    Cons

    The pay is not a competitive as other places but the benefits are good. They won't hire you if you don't have a degree. They only respect their own.

    The pros of working for OSU are that the institution provides satisfactory compensation, good students, visionary leadership, great benefits, and stimulating colleagues. Overall there are great things going on at OSU.

    Trends in competitive funding of the public sector research has made the job of being a professor less enjoyable than when I started in 2000.

    They will work around your class schedules pretty painlessly. Allows you to make your own hours. They know that school takes the priority.

    Cons

    Balancing work and school can be fairly stressful. The pay is not very good. Would help if there were some extra benefits like a reduction in the cost of a parking pass.
