    Good part time work for students

    ProsThey will work around your class schedules pretty painlessly. Allows you to make your own hours. They know that school takes the priority.

    ConsBalancing work and school can be fairly stressful. The pay is not very good. Would help if there were some extra benefits like a reduction in the cost of a parking pass.

    Flexible hours.
    Wonderful work-study opportunity.
    Helped gain experience in my future field.

    ConsThere was a lack of direction--I didn't know what I was doing from day to day until I got to the lab.
    I couldn't transfer jobs when I switched from a branch campus to main campus.

    ProsA lot of fun working with friends. Work was very easy but beneficial to getting job later on in life.

    ConsLong hours over holidays. Boss was not very nice but was okay after she had her coffee. No benefits or 401K

    ProsThere are many great professors and researchers which also helps with networking connections. The university is very supportive with funding opportunities for students. Columbus is also a great city with diverse people around.
