    Pros

Great work schedule, wonderful benefits and retirement plan.

    Cons

The pay is on the low side of competitive. The on boarding is very canned, but good overall.

I have been working at Oklahoma State full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Nice people and colleagues. Great campus life and great gym. Good flexibility.

    Cons

    Redundant paperwork and low salary.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Streamline the paperwork, because there are too many redundancies that take away from the purpose of one's job.

I have been working at Oklahoma State

    Pros

I'm a graduate assistant, so the compensation is just enough for you to support yourself here without taking out loans, but many students do take out small loans. They have been increasing our salary in increments during the years I've been here. The workload is standard, 20 hours/week assistantship, get exposure to some cultural offerings since it's a large and decently diverse student body, between programs & lectures from invited speakers or student-run events.

    Cons

Sometimes the work-study balance can be difficult to manage, as in doing your assistantship work while also maintaining enough time for coursework/personal scholarship/thesis/dissertation work. Work-life balance is strongly leaning towards work, but that's to be expected in grad school and there is a good community depending on the department you're in.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Fees for graduate students with assistantships should be waived or at the very least reduced. We need better fundraising opportunities for departments.

I have been working at Oklahoma State

    Pros

People here are very friendly. Very safe place to live in. Good work-life balance. I get a lot experience in both research and teaching.

    Cons

Stillwater is a very small town, so there is not many entertainment places to go. It also doesn't have enough parking spots.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep up with the good job.

I worked at Oklahoma State full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Great place to learn and gain experience in Project Management. Lots of good people working there and the work load was good.

    Cons

Low pay for the most part but the work load was comparable. Sometimes the days would just last forever.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The project managers should have half of the people working there and keep them busy with higher pay.

    Doesn't Recommend
