    I worked at Old Navy

    Pros

    -25% discount
    -schedule emailed to you

    Cons

-orientation is reading out of a book for 6 hours (on floor for about 2 hours while still reading out of a book)
-seasonal employment was from early November to early January in which i only worked twice
-tried to contact management multiple times to talk about scheduling would not return calls or emails
-told that i was "never promised any hours"

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do not hire people for season and have them go through a lengthy orientation to only work a few days in two months. This is not only extremely frustrating for the employee but can cause them to lose other work opportunities based on their belief that they will be working for you. Especially prior to Christmas when this can cause financial hardships and depression for people seeking employment.

I worked at Old Navy part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

You get discounts to old navy, the gap and banana republic. The music played is upbeat. During big promotions, you usually get a staff tee shirt, which you can then use as a gym shirt later!

    Cons

Hours can vary widely, managers often give the most hours to those who sign up the most people for an Old Navy card, however, if I'm only working 10 hours a week, how am I supposed to get as many opportunities?

I have been working at Old Navy part-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

The Old Navy I work at has great managers who truly care about their employees and their customers. It's a good company to move up the ranks in. They're also extremely flexible when it comes to hours. The employee discount is AMAZING.

    Cons

The pay is not that good. If this was a full-time job for me, it would be unacceptable. Scheduling is the one thing I truly hate. You often don't have the next week's schedule (starting on Sunday) until Thursday, so it's hard to plan ahead.
