I worked at Old Navy part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great people, relaxed work environment. Typical retail scenario, shifts and work stations are used. Generally nice customers, although sometimes you will encounter a bad egg.

    Cons

It's retail. As a sales associate you are essentially the grunt of the store, until you prove yourself to be a valuable employee. Expect a lot of folding, recovering, refolding, and re-stocking. So, it can get boring at times. You'll probably make minimum wage, but if you're a high school student like I was, then it's not a bad gig at all.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work

I worked at Old Navy part-time

    Pros

I truly enjoyed working for Old Navy. My fellow employees were good people and we worked well as a team. You must be patient and able to work well w/ others and assist people from all walks of life. Some days are more interesting than others. Overall, I recommend Old Navy highly.

    Cons

If you are not a patient person, then maybe retail isn't for you. Holidays are crazy!!! You have to be quick and on it.

I have been working at Old Navy (More than a year)

    Pros

Great company to work for! Treat employees wonderful. You get a yearly assessment which is really helpful. They tell you want you are excelling at and also what you need to work on. Opportunities to move up in the company.

    Cons

There are cons with every retail job; whether it be other employees or snarky customers.

I have been working at Old Navy part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good pay, friendly environment, Management treat employees to treat occasionally, Very easy and free flowing, flexible hours

    Cons

When its not busy or store is low on revenue, shifts are reduced or just cut. Fortunately, one is able to pick up shifts easily if coworkers dont want it anymore

    Advice to Management

More influx of payroll to stores to pay for more workers to be on staff. The Old Navy i work in is pretty popular in my area and very often we're stuck short-handed. NEED MORE HANDS ON DECK!
