    Pros

Great seasonal employment, patient managers, easy application process, and the work wasn't hard. Would recommend to anyone looking for a brief part time job.

    Cons

Schedule isn't ideal but managers attempted to work with me. Holidays and summer are busy and you meet and interact with all sorts of people, some nicer than others.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Good luck, I couldn't do your job.

I worked at Old Navy part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

If you need time to go to school and you just want to work part-time , they will give you very little hours to work a week. No need to have any previous work experience, and the job is easy.

    Cons

It's horrible to work at costumer service. Management is not much sometimes management is not understandable of school schedule.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be more aware that most of your employees are young and the benefits of working for this company is not enough to keep their interest on the job

I worked at Old Navy part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Working in retail as a sales associate allows you to build customer service skills and learn how to handle difficult in person situations appropriately. The tasks are your usual sales associate functions -- dressing room duties, cashier, on floor assistance with customers.

    Cons

On many occasions your availability wasn't considered when being assigned your schedule for the week. Your schedule was also updated every Sunday and was only done one week in advance.

    Pros

    Coworkers
Pay is okay for hs students
    Discounts
    That's about it

    Cons

    Everything else...literally!
This place is toxic, well, the location I were at was toxic. Customers are rude and expect you do be their slave while they're shopping.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Provide proper training, schedule ppl for when they are actually available, and get off your high horse.

I have been working at Old Navy part-time

    Pros

Generally a youthful, fun environment. Flexible scheduling even as a manager. Decent pay for associates. Low key, relaxed work environment.

    Cons

The company cares very little about the well being of their employees. Problems within the company are never handled in a timely manner, sometimes taking years to resolve. Communication within all levels of the company is handled extremely poorly. Wage raises for associates do not mean that management wages will be raised as well, which results in an extremely small wage gap between associates and their superiors.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Communication is key. This has been my biggest problem at this company at every location I have worked at. As management, you should be able to confront one another, not stew and brood until someone blows up.

Good discount. Most managers at this location were friendly. Pretty good hours for being in high school (15-20). Decent training.

    Cons

Expected high schoolers to stay long hours for visits on a school night. Too tough on getting credit cards.
