I worked at Olympic Medical Center (Seattle)

    Pros

Coworkers are great - the office is like a big family and everyone makes it a fun place to work. The doctors are approachable, and easy to work with. Free lunch from drug reps usually on Wednesdays (yay!). There will always be an endless supply of free pharmaceutical goodies (pens, paper, clocks, you name it!).

    Cons

Paperwork (filing) is disorganized and the office is not up to date on technology. The office was a mess! Patient files, claims, and other medical related documents were not filed securely and many of the processes and programs used were outdated. Can't really expect much from a small office with a limited budget.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management should really invest in better equipment and technology to increase productivity and efficiency. Also, patient files should really be locked, or kept electronically (secure).
