I have been working at Omni Cable
Pros – Omni has matched 401k contributions for almost every year that I have been employed. Often over 50% of every dollar contributed. They have clearly documented family leave regulations that are more than fair. An ESOP company gifts company stock to all employees. Great atmosphere.
Cons – Remote branches don't receive same attention as the home branch. More mentoring and opportunities exist at HQ. Some managers are not as "on board" as they could be...blame corporate for their issues.
Advice to Senior Management – Find a way to get remote branches more attention and better attitudes.

I worked at Omni Cable
Pros – A reason one would want to work for Omni Cable is the benefit plan. They do not match your 401k contributions, but do provide employee stock options.
Cons – The organization is not employee-friendly and does not use good practices when addressing things such as family leave time and sick time.
Advice to Senior Management – Offer 401k matching, review and be aware of Family Medical Leave Act regulations to avoid violating employee rights, and keep management trained in the latest compliance areas, such as sexual harassment and employee coaching.
