    TOP HEAVY UNSKILLED

Digital Strategist (Current Employee) New York, NY

ProsBenefits are good. Pay is always on time

ConsTop level management are unskilled in the digital age. Too many top heavy old school employees hanging on to skill sets no longer valuable. Management uses intimidation and politics to bridge the gap. if you are young and skilled stay away. You will not get credit for your work

Advice to Senior ManagementHire people in the digital age in positions hire then entry level.

PHD is probably the best out of the three OMD/PHD/OMG

Strategy Supervisor (Current Employee) Chicago, IL

ProsLots of large and recognizable brands. Young atmosphere. The offices are kind of boring (look and feel wise), but there is a new revamp of offices in next couple of months.

Internal promotions. Internal promotions. I have been promoted twice since I got there

ConsRotating to new accounts. It is very very hard to get rotated off of an account to something new.

Advice to Senior ManagementProbably an industry thing, but don't wait until someone decided to leave before paying them what they are worth.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Unpleasant

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) New York, NY

ProsThere are a lot of young people to meet. Depending on what division you work in, there are opportunities to meet with celebrities, talk show hosts and entertainers. Also, as a buyer, we get a lot of perks (gift cards, tickets, nights out) from our sales reps

ConsTHere is no work life balance at all. There is also no overtime. Assistants get paid terribly. Management on both teams I have worked on have left a lot to be desired.

Advice to Senior ManagementWe shouldn't be treated with an attitude if some days we need to leave by 5:30 for personal reasons. They expect you to have NO life except work and there is no reward for the amount of hours we put in. No overtime, no bonus, no annual salary increase.

    Good company, lack of direction

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

Prosgood work life balance, laid back

Conssenior management is still confused on the direction of the company. they have general direction but dont know how to execute it.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

Both an innovative and focused group of smart, young individuals

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

Pros-nice and smart people who really care about driving you towards success and personal fullfilllment
-great environment for young people who are social but also driven

Cons-fluctuating hours, but honestly the company is great it just was not a fit for me. I do not have many regrets working there and recommend applying there

Advice to Senior ManagementBuild stronger relationships with starting employees and train them to know what they should be expected out of them with their work. Giving more extensive training, perhaps online or in some inexpensive way, would have made the transition much smoother

Good to stay for long term

Project Manager (Current Employee) New York, NY

    ProsPotential growth reporting line promotion

    ConsNo annual review no raise

Advice to Senior ManagementHope for employee

    Fast pace quantitative media agency.

Media Buyer (Current Employee) Dallas, TX

ProsAgency has a wide variety of clients, which is continually growing, that gives buyers and their coworkers some good experience. A number of employees has been loyal to the company for 10 to 20 years. Being a quantitative agency and having buyers with a larger market lists has contributed to higher job security than other large agencies. Benefits, amount of vacation and sick days offered are good. Agency is not only national but global and tries to promote new opportunities to employees.

ConsAgency size contributes to a lack consistency in operating procedures, and management tends to be reactive instead of proactive. Agency is as time so macromanagement in style it can be difficult getting assistance. The billing/discrepancy department is separate from the buying department as of the last few years and this has negatively affected the learning process. The large client/market lists can be overwhelming and make it difficult to use vacation. While agency is global and offers a variety of services it can be difficult to move departments or locations due to a "lack of experience" or "too much experience."

Advice to Senior ManagementBecause agency is so faced paced and quantitative it is imperative that communication becomes a top priority.

Junior Media Buyer (Former Employee) Dubai (United Arab Emirates)

Prosshows the good side for interns .. but at times they are rejected

    Consno much importants for interns

Advice to Senior Managementconsider more on training than pushing fresh talents to a corner

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
