Current Employee – been working at Omnicom Media Group full-time for more than a year
Pros – Agency has a wide variety of clients, which is continually growing, that gives buyers and their coworkers some good experience. A number of employees has been loyal to the company for 10 to 20 years. Being a quantitative agency and having buyers with a larger market lists has contributed to higher job security than other large agencies. Benefits, amount of vacation and sick days offered are good. Agency is not only national but global and tries to promote new opportunities to employees.
Cons – Agency size contributes to a lack consistency in operating procedures, and management tends to be reactive instead of proactive. Agency is as time so macromanagement in style it can be difficult getting assistance. The billing/discrepancy department is separate from the buying department as of the last few years and this has negatively affected the learning process. The large client/market lists can be overwhelming and make it difficult to use vacation. While agency is global and offers a variety of services it can be difficult to move departments or locations due to a "lack of experience" or "too much experience."
Advice to Senior Management – Because agency is so faced paced and quantitative it is imperative that communication becomes a top priority.

Current Employee – been working at Omnicom Media Group full-time
Pros – To be self-motivated and self-driven, that may be the key to convince myself to struggle in a local office locaing in a fast developing country
Cons – For far too long, share service delivery in OMG had been characterized by just individual thinking & abilities and often poorly implemented. Lots of challenges, in this pure service industry, most of the guys are very young (also may not professional) and ambitious (also bold and radical). Reflect on our firm, not easy for us bridging boss’ satisfactions and operational excellence. Especially as MNC here but no structured strategy no framework no top-down support… and have to balance “guess” and “productivity”, what a mess~
Advice to Senior Management – Long-term & Profesionals rather than short-term & experts
