I have been working at OnCore Manufacturing full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Mid-level site management works together well.

    Cons

Corporate management is a detached, dysfunctional, over-inflated group of egomaniacs who over-burden the sites with unnecessary metrics and multiple-weekly meetings in an attempt to stay connected and justify their positions. One corporate manager located at the Springfield, MA site preys on young women and has earned a reputation as a sexual predator. Management turns a blind eye to the problem and multiple female employees have left the company because of him.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The majority of corporate management should be replaced with the next sale to private equity, start looking for a job.

I worked at OnCore Manufacturing full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Generally good hardworking people who give their very best despite the work environment

    Cons

Sr manager uses profanities and intimidation as well as outbursts towards others to demonstrate his authority. Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. Very unfortunate for the rest of the employees, that the executive team allows this treatment to continue given their knowledge of these types of behaviors throughout the company

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Reexamine your choices for leadership and determine what type of culture and environment you really desire. Establish a code of ethics and enforce it.

I worked at OnCore Manufacturing full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Really enjoyed the work I was doing repairing hi end audio equipment. The top manager at the facility was a really good guy. They were very flexible in my choice to return to school as well as when I could leave and come in. Give them 8 and they were certified.

    Cons

Became frustrated that I wasn't able to be treated like the other technicians. i.e. A dedicated bench, tools, assistance. From day one I was told I would not last because everyone quits. Moral was in the can. Compensation was below average but acceptable as long as the work environment improved. Just never did. A drag,m really enjoyed the work..

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Follow through on requests from employees. Whether they can be fulfilled or not, a response in a reasonable of time would be fair.

    Pros

Management is good. GM is a sweet lady although many are afraid of her :) Compensation is good! but very low raises. Plenty of room for growth, you just have to work hard for it.

    Cons

Benefits aren't that good. Constant rumors of the company letting people go, Plenty of dumb rumors about personal lives. Maturity level on the lines are low.
