I have been working at OneLogin full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Decent benefits, good salary, a few startup perks, excellent work/life balance, and located in a nice spot in the City. As a startup, you get the opportunity to help shape the company and "wins" are more frequent than at a larger company. The company has a bright future ahead of it due to the demand in this space, so it's not riding any kind of bubble.

    Cons

If you crave a lot of structure (including in-depth training), this is not the place for you. If you want to help create structure then this is the place for you. As a startup, there are limited opportunities for career progression in the short term, but if you are in for the long haul, you will see this improve in proportion to the company's success.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Consistency is key to creating a positive work environment and removing some of the chaos inherent to a less structured org.

I have been working at OneLogin

    Pros

'A Players' on board - God I like working with A Players
Very little bureaucracy in the way of making necessary changes
Cool working environment and fun people
    CEO is incredibly accessible

    Cons

    Interdepartmental communication could be better

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep Innovating. It is inspiring when product comes to us and says "we are the only people in the world who can do this"

    Pros

    Strong Management team
Great product with a huge market
    Really nice office
    Competitive pay
Collaborative Environment - everybody's voice is heard
    Growing fast

    Cons

Its a small company so the training is more by osmosis than a regimented training program, but thats to be expected. Overall a great environment to work in.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep it up, this company is going places!

    Pros

Very positive environment. The people here are all very bright and talented. Huge commitment to customer success and innovation. Collaborative environment where your voice is heard. Entrepreneurial with lots of autonomy.

    Cons

I really don't have too many to mention. The only thing I can think of is that there is very little training for new employees. Training is self taught for the most part. Having said that, I don't see that as much of a negative. All employees seem to have a vested interest in overall company success and are willing to pitch in with regards to training new employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep doing what you are doing. Work hard to keep the culture as is. Big big things are coming.

    Pros

You are given the tools needed to succeed. If they are not provided, just ask. The great work ethic is contagious.
You will have an opportunity to make an impact at a company that is in a great vertical.

    Cons

If you are not ready to work in a fast-paced, ever changing environment - this is not the place for you.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Keep doing what you're doing.

    I worked at OneLogin

    Pros

    - Good product
    - Great coworkers
    - C-level executives and Director of Sales are intelligent and great to work with.
    - Casual Fridays and Pizza!
    - Fantastic location (great view of the bay area)
    - High potential growth opportunities

    Cons

    - As expected with a startup, the changes to policies and procedures are unexpected and quick.
    - Terrible compensation (for my position).
    - They sell you on potential, but it may not always be real.
    - Incompetent and rude regional sales manager (just one of them). Won't go into specifics, but things could've been a lot better if there were better communication.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I overall had a great experience at OneLogin, but I would recommend the senior management to hire people who are competent in the position for the SSO industry, not just previous co-workers that performed well in the last organization they worked at together.

    Pros

You get an amazing salary.... at the expense of your integrity!

    Cons

There is absolutely no onboarding process here... The managers say they don't micromanage only because they have no desire to help you get upto speed whatsoever. They will throw you on sales calls where you have to lie and say that a certain construct is good to go when it isn't even close!! This company is 100% smoke and mirrors and eventually the clients will catch on! Don't be blinded by the big salary and compromise your character!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get the heck out and let some real people manage! At least that is how I feel with my particular manager!
